1. Introduction

Welcome to Adsync ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure experience for our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our advertising reporting platform.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, join our waitlist, or contact support. This includes:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, and agency details.
  • Account Credentials: Hashed passwords and authentication tokens.
  • Billing Information: We use Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Your payment details (credit card numbers, etc.) are processed directly by Paddle and are not stored on our servers.

3. Advertising Platform Data (Meta & Google)

Adsync connects to third-party advertising platforms (Meta Ads and Google Ads) via official OAuth APIs.

  • Scopes & Permissions: We only request "read-only" access (e.g., ads_read, ads_management for reporting purposes). We do not post on your behalf or modify your ad campaigns without explicit action.
  • Data Usage: We retrieve performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions) solely to generate your dashboards and shared Magic Links.
  • Data Storage: Retrieved metrics are cached in our secure database to improve dashboard performance.
  • No Data Selling: We never sell, rent, or trade your advertising performance data to third parties.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and security. We also use analytical cookies (like Google Analytics) to understand how users interact with our platform. You can manage your cookie preferences in your browser settings.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request data deletion at any time.

  • Deletion Requests: To delete your account and all associated advertising data, please contact privacy@adsync.app or use the "Delete Account" option in your settings.
  • Meta Data Deletion: If you connected your Meta account, you can also remove Adsync access via your Facebook Business Integrations settings.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including AES-256 encryption for sensitive API tokens and SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission.
